Jason Keller Quotes:

The Milwaukee Mile… Keller and the Albertsons team are heading to Milwaukee, one of their most successful tracks on the circuit. Keller has three top-five and five top-10 finishes in 10 starts at the one-mile track.

“I really enjoy running at Milwaukee,” said Keller. “It reminds me of Greenville-Pickens and some of the other tracks I ran on early in my career. It is an extremely flat, slick and fast track. By racing in Milwaukee in the heat of the summer, the track is usually extremely slick and fun to race on.

“Last year it was one of the many battles to the end I had with Greg Biffle. Steve (Addington) has a great handle on this type of track and can usually set up the car to find grip that no one else does. I expect to see and be part of the great racing that Milwaukee always showcases.”

Keller and the team made progress two weeks ago in Kentucky in their battle for the championship. More importantly, they’ve had two successful races in a row and now head to a track with which they are very comfortable and confident.

“Milwaukee couldn’t come at a better time,” said Keller. “We are coming off our best finish and best race of the season at Kentucky. We led laps and contended for the win, and that’s what it takes to win races and championships. Everyone got plenty of time to rest during the off weekend and I think mentally we needed it. We proved we were still a championship caliber race team and Milwaukee is the perfect track to build on our success from the past few races. The entire team is optimistic heading into this weekend’s race.”
