Wimmer on Michigan: Scott Wimmer, driver of the No. 23 Stacker 2/YJ Stinger Chevrolet, finished seventh in last year's Busch Series race at Michigan International Speedway.

"Michigan Speedway is a fun track for a driver because of all the different lines you can choose from to run," said Wimmer. "No matter how your car is handling, you can usually find a line that works for you. Horsepower is extremely important; as the track is so big you need a big motor to pull you around there. Michigan hasn't been one of my strongest tracks in the past, but the race tends to go green a lot there due to the large racing surface and I know our Stacker 2 team gets great fuel mileage and hopefully, we can use that to our advantage."

Team Notes: Wimmer and his Stacker 2 team tested on Tuesday, August 12th and Wednesday, August 13th at Bristol Motor Speedway to prepare for the upcoming races next weekend.

Appearances: Wimmer will make the following appearances during the Michigan event weekend:
· Friday, August 15th Wimmer will attend the NASCAR/MIS Boy Scout Benefit Dinner/Auction held on MIS property.
· Saturday, August 16th Wimmer will sign autographs starting at 9:00 a.m. at the W&H Souvenir trailer located on MIS property.

Equipment: Wimmer and the Stacker 2/YJ Stinger team are taking the same car to Michigan that competed earlier this year at Nazareth Speedway.
