Las Vegas Motor Speedway - March 1, 2003

Wimmer on Las Vegas: Scott Wimmer, driver of the No. 23 Stacker 2/Stamina RX Chevrolet, and his Bill Davis Racing.

"Las Vegas is a great race track," said Wimmer. "I love how smooth and fast the track is. It is one of the first new speedways we started racing at in recent years, so the pavement is starting to get worn out to allow two-wide racing. As far as handling, you need to get the cars to come off the corner good and aerodynamics is a big part of your package as well as horsepower. The race should give us a good indicator for areas where we are strong and where we will need to work on our program for the 2003 season."

Testing: Wimmer and his Stacker 2/Stamina RX team tested at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Tuesday, January 28th and Wednesday, January 29th.

"I feel our test went really well at Las Vegas," said Wimmer. "I was the first time we were able to test the 2003 cars and we learned a lot for the upcoming season. We weren't as fast as we needed to be, but we learned what we needed to do to make the cars better and took them back to the shop to make the improvements. I feel real good going back that we will be able to run very well."

Also, while in Las Vegas for his test session, Wimmer proposed to long-time girlfriend, Jody Ambrose.

Viva Las Vegas: While in Las Vegas, Wimmer plans to take in a Vegas show and do some gambling.

Appearances: Scott Wimmer will make the following appearance during the Las Vegas event weekend.
· Thursday, February 27th = Speedway Children Charities Driver Auction at Sam's Town Casino from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
· Thursday, Feburary 27th = PRN's Fast Talk Live at The Orleans Hotel and Casino from 8:35 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.

Equipment: The Stacker 2/Stamina RX Racing team is taking brand new car to Las Vegas.
