Biffle Dominates Rain-Delayed Little Trees 300
Greg Biffle put on a dominating performance in taking the checkered flag for the Little Trees 300 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon. The Busch series event was postponed from Friday night after rain interfered with track activities. Biffle, the defending champion of the Busch series and rookie in Winston Cup this season, was the class of the field, leading 118 of the race’s 200 laps. Biffle won by a whopping margin of 12.628 seconds over fellow Winston Cup driver Michael Waltrip. The win is the first of the season for Biffle and the 10th of his career. Mike Bliss was best in class, finishing third as the top-finishing Busch series regular. Brain Vickers brought his Chevrolet home in fourth and Jamie McMurray rounded out the top five in the finishing order.
