The Civil Air Patrol Racing team heads to Homestead-Miami Speedway this weekend for the 2003 NASCAR Busch Series season finale. In his third full season of competition, Lewis, Jr. has had had his most successful year to date with one top-5, nine top-10's and one Bud Pole award. Still searching for his first win, Lewis, Jr. hopes that he can give the Civil Air Patrol just that this weekend in what will be their final race as primary sponsor of the No. 46 Lewis Motorsports Chevrolet.

Last Race - (Target House 200)- Lewis, Jr. and the No. 46 Civil Air Patrol Racing team posted a 12th place finish in the Target House 200 at North Carolina Motor Speedway last weekend.

Standings - Going into the 2003 season finale, Lewis, Jr. is 12th in the NASCAR Busch Series Drivers' Points Standings. Team owner Ashton Lewis, Sr. holds the 14th spot in the Owners' Points standings.

Ashton Lewis, Jr. on The Reconstructed Homestead Miami:
"I am excited about seeing the changes they have made to this track. From everything I have heard, the new design is going to produce a very exciting race, something I think Homestead has been lacking in years past. The variable banking will allow faster lap speeds and some great side-by-side racing. We're not really sure what to expect until we get down there and get on the track on Tuesday for our test. We do know, after talking to some people that were there for the tire test, that we're going to unload with a set-up similar to Kansas and go from there."

Lewis, Jr. To Visit Kennedy Space Center:
On Wednesday, Lewis, Jr. will make the journey from Homestead, FL to Cape Canaveral, FL to visit NASA's Kennedy Space Center. Lewis, Jr. will spend the entire day getting the VIP tour before heading back to Homestead in time for Thursday's practice session and qualifying for the Ford 300.

Equipment:
The No. 46 Civil Air Patrol Racing team will compete with chassis No. 15 this weekend in the Ford 300. Lewis, Jr. drove chassis No. 15 to an 11th place finish last month at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
