TEAM MARINES RACING NOTES & QUOTES:

Bobby Hamilton, Jr. on Gateway:
"Any race at Gateway is going to be an exciting one," said Hamilton, Jr. "This is a challenging track because of the way it is designed. You will never have a perfect handling race car there. If you have it perfect in one and two, in general, it will be awful in three and four.

This year will be a challenge for everyone for a couple of different reasons. First, it's going to be a lot cooler there since they have moved this event up to May where it's always been in July in the past. Second, we 'll be racing during the day instead of at night under the lights. With both of those factors, the track is going to a lot different than what we're used to. A lot of the things that worked set-up wise last year aren't going to work this year, so in a way, everyone will be kind of starting from scratch."

Fred Wanke on Gateway:
"Gateway is so unique and it can be pretty tough to figure out," said Wanke. "It's an egg shaped track and turns one and two are much tighter and have a higher degree of banking than three and four. The design makes it next to impossible to find a way to make the car handle equally at both ends of the track. It's all about compromise. You have to find a set up that the driver is comfortable with all the way around the track."

Equipment:
The No. 25 Team Marines will compete with chassis No. 22 this weekend at Gateway International Raceway. Hamilton, Jr. has driven this chassis to one top-10 and three top-15 finishes in four races this season. North Carolina Speedway (13th), Darlington Raceway (12th) and Nashville Superspeedway (10th), and California (18th).
