HAROLD HOLLY'S INFLUENCE FELT WITH TEAM MARINES RACE TEAM
DOVER, DE --- The NASCAR Busch Series returns to Dover, DE this weekend for the Stacker 200. The 200 mile race will mark the 14th race of crew chief Harold Holly's tenure with the # 25 Team Marines Racing Team and driver Bobby Hamilton, Jr. After joining the team for the first Dover race of the year, Holly has built the Team Rensi Motorsports owned organization into one of the top teams on the circuit and a contender for the win each week.
A quick comparison of the 13 races prior to Holly joining the Team Marines Ford and the 13 races since the Pell City, AL native came aboard.
NOTES
· Hamilton, Jr. has qualified outside the top-ten only two times since Harold Holly joined the team. One of those races, Nashville, the field was set by owner's points due to rain.
· Hamilton, Jr. has yet to finish outside the top-ten in races he has run incident free since Holly joined the team. Hamilton, Jr. was involved in accidents in Daytona, Pikes Peak and Bristol and suffered mechanical failure in Indianapolis. All nine of other finishes have been top-ten finishes, including two wins and six top-five finishes.
· Hamilton, Jr. won the Tropicana Twister 300 at the Chicagoland Speedway by 4.503 seconds and led 186 of 200 laps.
· Hamilton, Jr. won the Meijer 300 at Kentucky Speedway by .506 seconds and led 88 of 200 laps.
