Kenseth Dominates, Nemechek Wins at Dover
Matt Kenseth might have dominated the MBNA Armed Forces Family 200 at Dover International Speedway, leading 160 of the event’s 200 laps, but it was polesitter Joe Nemechek who visited victory lane. Nemechek was the benefactor of Kenseth’s late-race spin on lap 179, taking the lead and holding on for the win. The victory is the third of the season for Nemechek and the 15th of his career. Nemechek led 30 laps on the day and becomes only the second driver to win a Busch series race at Dover from the pole position. Scott Riggs crossed the finish line in second place, his third runner-up finish of the year. David Green finished third while Kenseth rebounded to finish in the fourth position. Brian Vickers rounded out the top five.
