Stanton Barrett on Bristol Motor Speedway:
"I have had a couple of good runs at Bristol. Last time I went
to Bristol I broke a shock on the very first lap, but still had a decent
run. If you can stay out of trouble and keep on the lead lap, then you
can get a good finish there. I like Bristol because it is good short
track racing. The facility is so incredible and unique. The fans look
like they are piled up right on top of you when you are driving."
"The team has made some good progress since Daytona. The
engine and fab shop guys as well as my weekend crew have provided me
with great race cars. We have been running some of the fastest times on
the track during these past few races."
Crew Chief Kevin Starland on racing at Bristol:
"The past few weeks we have put together some good runs.
Stanton has done a great job of learning the tracks and taking care of
his equipment. Bristol is a place where anything can happen we just have
to be heads up as a team and make good calls in the pits and we can get
a good finish."
