Aaron's 312 - Jason Leffler Notes

Jason Leffler will make his 38th NASCAR Busch Series start and third for the Haas CNC Racing team this weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

JASON LEFFLER ON RACING IN ATLANTA…”I wouldn’t put Atlanta on my list of favorite tracks, but that’s only because of my past experiences there. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good track and great to race on, but I’ve only really raced there one time, and even then we had some problems and weren’t able to finish the race. It’s a fast track, and it has a lot of grip. There are a couple of grooves to run on so it’s a great place to race. I’m looking forward to getting there since I know I have a good car and a good team to work with.”

ON THE HAAS AUTOMATION RACING TEAM…”I think every time this Busch team shows up at the track we have a chance to win. The two races we’ve already run together have helped a lot as far as giving me and Bill Ingle the opportunity to work together and communicate effectively. Bill and the rest of the Haas Automation team have a better idea each time we run of what I need and what I like with the car. It helps that some of these guys are the same guys that work on the Cup team and, and there has kind of been a joint effort at the shop to get these cars ready to go for the last four races. I have a lot of confidence in this team and I think they have a lot in me, and we are busy working on making this an even better program for the future. I really feel like we can go right out next season and make a run for the championship. We’ll have first-class equipment and top-notch people and that’s what it takes to run well and win.”
