Mooresville, N.C. --- ppc Racing announces that Nestlé® Nesquik®, primary sponsor of the No. 10 Ford Taurus driven by Scott Riggs in the NASCAR Busch Series, has decided they will not utilize motorsports to market their brand in 2004.

Co-owned by Greg Pollex and Keith Barnwell, ppc Racing is recognized as one of the most accomplished organizations in the NASCAR Busch Series. Since 1993, Pollex-owned teams have finished in the top 10 in over 50 percent of the races they have started. In 408 NASCAR Busch Series starts to date, ppc Racing has claimed 25 poles, 30 wins, 148 top 5¹s, 215 top 10¹s, the 2000 NASCAR Busch Series Championship and the 2002 Rookie-of-the-Year honor.

Nestlé Nesquik has served as primary sponsor of the No. 10 ppc Racing entry since 2000. During their tenure they have realized the benefits from tremendous on-track performance with 13 poles, 13 wins, 53 top 5¹s, 70 top 10¹s, the 2000 NASCAR Busch Series Championship and the 2002 Rookie-of-the-Year honor in 111 starts to date. Off the track, Nestlé Nesquik was able to achieve remarkable marketing goals associated with their NASCAR Busch Series sponsorship of ppc Racing generating significant increases in Nesquik sales per market as well as tremendous share and volume increases from its participating associate sponsor brands, Libby¹s® Juicy Juice®, Nestea®, Nestlé Carnation® Coffee-mate® and Nestlé Toll House®.

"We enjoyed a great four-year relationship with Nestlé and the program attained a lot of success both on and off the track, but Nestlé has a new brand strategy that does not include a motorsports sponsorship," said Pollex. "We hold out hope that they may reconsider, but we are moving forward and in discussions with other potential sponsors. With our performance record, we feel confident that we will soon secure a sponsorship partner and start building another successful program."
