HERSHEY, Pa., October 24, 2004 - Hershey Foods announced today that Kevin Harvick and Reese’s peanut butter cups will be teaming up in 2004 on the No. 21 Reese’s Chevrolet. This winning combination will feature one of America’s favorite race car drivers and candy bars as they lead the 2004 NASCAR Busch Series. The Reese’s brand will replace the Payday brand as the title sponsor for Richard Childress Racing team’s No. 21 Chevrolet. The Reese’s car was unveiled today during a press conference at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.

“Kevin Harvick and Reese’s will continue the winning tradition of Richard Childress Racing in 2004,” said Alex Corcoran, Marketing Manager, Reese’s brand. “What could be better - one of the best drivers in NASCAR and one of the best tasting candies of all time, Reese’s peanut butter cups. We look forward to an exciting year with Kevin driving the No. 21 Reese’s Chevrolet during the 2004 NASCAR Busch Series season.”

“I’m looking forward to Reese’s coming on board with the 21 car next year,” said Kevin Harvick, driver, Richard Childress Racing. “We’ve given the PayDay car a good showing and I think it’s really gotten people’s attention this year. Hopefully we can be just as successful next season.”

So far this season, Harvick has competed in 15 events with 15 top-10 finishes, including three wins, four poles and 11 top-five finishes. Harvick also has more lead laps (911) than any other driver in the NASCAR Busch Series.
