Last week at Nashville … Kevin Grubb qualified 13th and finished 34th. In the inaugural race at the new Nashville Superspeedwayfor a possible top-ten finish when he was involved in an accident on lap 162 that ended his afternoon. Grubb’s 34th-place finish leaves him 24th in the overall Busch Series point standings after eight races.

"Dusty" returns to action … Grubb will drive "Dusty" in the Subway 300 this Saturday. Grubb drove Dusty at Daytona earlier this season and was running sixth when he was an innocent victim in a late-race accident. Grubb also drove Dusty at Talladega and Michigan last season. "Dusty" got his name because, aside from the superspeedway races, he just sits in the corner of the shop collecting "dust".

Add another candle … On Thursday, April 19th, Kevin Grubb will add another candle to his birthday cake. The candle total now numbers twenty-three (23).

Kevin Grubb on the Subway 300 and the Talladega Superspeedway… "I’m really excited about Talladega. I’ll have the same car that ran strong at Daytona in February. The guys at the shop have made improvements on this car with a new nose and fenders since Daytona. Fischer has a strong restrictor plate engine program, so I’m looking for a good weekend. I’m sure you’ll see three, four and five wide racing this weekend. It’ll be exciting!
