Outback Steakhouse 200 - Randy Tolsma Notes Randy Tolsma Phoenix International Raceway – October 27, 2001 Randy Tolsma on Phoenix: Randy Tolsma, driver of the No. 25 Team Marines Chevrolet, is excited about heading to Phoenix, the track he considers home. “Being from Idaho, Phoenix is the closest I have to a home track,” said Tolsma. “I am excited about going back and having the opportunity to race in front of family and old friends.” “I have raced at Phoenix at least once a year since 1984, so it’s a track I know well. I have enjoyed much success at Phoenix during my days in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and in open wheel racing. I am looking forward to an exciting race and expecting it to be a great weekend for Team Rensi Motorsports and the Team Marines.” Troy Selberg on Phoenix: Team Marines crew chief, Troy Selberg, said, “We are looking forward to heading to Phoenix and to an exciting race. We have a lot of momentum going after a great run in Memphis where we ran in the top-ten for part of the race, and I think that momentum will carry through into this weekend as well. I expect us to have a good, strong finish this weekend.” Equipment: Tolsma and his Team Marines are taking Car No. 11 to Phoenix. This is the same car that Tolsma and the Team Marines tested at Homestead last week. Tolsma feels the knowledge gained during testing at Homestead, also a flat track, will be a big advantage heading into this weekend’s race. Look for Randy at: Zoom Fest at the Arizona Center, Thursday, October 25th, from 7:30 – 9:30pm, where he’ll be greeting fans and signing autographs.
