Alltel 200 - North Carolina Speedway
Bodine Wins Alltel 200
Todd Bodine held off Kevin Harvick by .407 seconds to win the Alltel 200 at the North Carolina Speedway. Bodine, who led for 146 of the event's 197 laps, claimed his second Busch Grand National win at Rockingham and the 12th of his career. Pole-sitter Greg Biffle came home third, while Kenny Wallace and Bobby Hamilton Jr. rounded out the top five.
Biffle Grabs Rockingham Pole
Greg Biffle, in his second race behind the wheel of the 60 car, won his first Busch Grand National pole position, taking the top starting spot for the Alltel 200 at Rockingham. Biffle turned in a qualifying lap of 23.374 seconds, at an average speed of 156.638 mph. Ryan Newman will start from the outside pole, while Winston Cup regulars Todd Bodine and Kenny Wallace make out row two.
