Lajoie Wins Sam's Town 250
Randy Lajoie used pit strategy and a little luck to capture the win in the Sam's Town 250 at Memphis Motorsports Park. Lajoie was the benefactor of a late-race tangle between the top two cars with only two laps to go. Leader Jay Sauter and second-place Jeff Green made contact several times before both cars got out of shape, Lajoie ducked underneath to take the lead and the win. The win is the second of the season for Lajoie, who won the season opener at Daytona, and the 15th in his Busch career. Green would recover to finish second, followed by point-leader Kevin Harvick. Sauter and Jeff Purvis would round out the top five.

Sam's Town 250 Postponed
The Busch Grand National event at Memphis Motorsports Park scheduled for Saturday has been postponed due to rain. The Sam's Town 250 has been rescheduled for 12:00 pm on Sunday, October 13. Rain had already forced the cancellation of qualifying on Friday, setting the field by owner points. Kevin Harvick will start from the top spot with Jason Keller starting second.
