Welcome aboard! … Markette Stores will be the associate sponsor on the #37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet for the DuraLube 200 this weekend. Markette Stores has 19 retail outlets in the Florence & Hartsville, South Carolina area.

Last race – Bristol … Kevin Grubb qualified 11th and finished 13th in the Food City 250 on August 24th. Grubb posted his eighth top-fifteen finish in the last nine races with his 13th at Bristol.

Summer Streak! … In the past nine races, Kevin Grubb has two top-five, five top-ten, and eight top-fifteen finishes. Since June 16th, Grubb has moved from 24th to 11th in the overall Busch Series point standings.

"Stepchild" is the choice … Kevin Grubb will drive "Stepchild", the only Hopkins chassis in their stable, this weekend. Grubb drove Stepchild at Rockingham (12th), Darlington (21st), and Dover (33rd) earlier this year.

"Darlington is still one of the toughest tracks that we race on. You have to race the track just as much as the competition. Tire wear and track position are always factors at Darlington. I’ve had a good stretch of races this summer, and I’m looking for my first top ten at Darlington this weekend. The keys to our streak have been a strong car, great pit stops, and a little luck. This is a very big race for our team this weekend."
