Food City 250 - Bristol Motor Speedway

 

Harvick Wins Again at Bristol
Kevin Harvick came back from two laps down in the Food City 250 to win his second Bristol night race in a row. Harvick won for the fifth time this season, holding off Jeff Green to take the victory. Harvick has now won three of the last five Busch events. Green would finish second followed by Kenny Wallace in third. Steve Park and Elton Sawyer would round out the top five.

Skinner Roars to Food City 250 Pole
Mike Skinner will start the Food City 250 from the pole position, grabbing the top spot in record-breaking fashion. Skinner's lap of 15.417 seconds, at an average speed of 124.460 mph, broke the previous Bristol track record. The pole is Skinner's third in 40 Busch events. Skinner's teammate Kevin Harvick will join him on the front row, starting second, while Jeff Green and Kenny Wallace make out row two.
