Cheez-It 250 - Mark Green Notes

Mark Green Darlington Preview

Race Information
Race: Cheez-It 250 (250 laps/ 133.25 miles)
Track: Bristol Motor Speedway
Track Distance: .533-mile oval
Television: FX networks (12:30 p.m.)
Radio: PRN Radio (12:30 p.m.)
Mark Green on Bristol: "We are looking forward to going to Bristol. I have had some great runs there, and this team qualified 8th there last year, so we should have a pretty decent shot at a top-10 as long as we can stay out of trouble. The key is going to be avoiding accidents and making the right moves on pit road."

Last Week in Darlington: The team was able to snap a streak of tough finishes by battling from 33rd to finish 16th, marking the team's best finish of the young season. Green would avoid an accident midway through the race by diving low, narrowly missing the spinning car of Chad Chaffin. Green would end the race battling Rich Bickle to the stripe. It was determined by photo that Green was barely edged by Bickle's #59, giving the team the 16th place finish.
