Aaron's 312 - Atlanta Motor Speedway
Nemechek Wins Busch Race at Atlanta
Joe Nemechek claimed his 10th Busch Grand National series win, taking the checkered flag in the Aaron's 312 at Atlanta. Nemechek won by 10.647 seconds over second-place Greg Biffle. Michael Waltrip finished in the third spot, followed by Jeff Green and Todd Bodine. Green, the defending Busch champion, now takes sole possession of the BGN points lead, holding the top spot by five points over rookie Biffle.
Newman Captures Busch Pole at Atlanta
Ryan Newman, in only his second career Busch Series start, won the pole for this weeeknd's Aaron's 312. Newman turned a lap of 191.661 mph at the high-speed 1.54-mile Atlanta Motor Speedway Friday afternoon to knock Kevin Harvick from the top spot. Harvick will start second, while Joe Nemechek and Scott Wimmer start second and third respectively.
