Mr. Goodcents Joins Herzog Motorsports as Associate Sponsor for Inaugural Event at Kansas Speedway
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (September 27, 2001) - Mr. Goodcents Subs & Pastas, Inc.,
home of "Good Food That Makes Good Sense", is proud to announce their partnership
with Herzog Motorsports as the associate sponsor of the No. 92 Excedrin
Chevrolet Monte Carlo for Saturday's Mr. Goodcents 300 at Kansas Speedway..
Headquartered in Kansas City, Mr. Goodcents is also the title sponsor of
the NASCAR Busch Series race, the Mr. Goodcents 300, which will take the
green flag at 2:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, September 29, live on the TNT Television
Network.
Mr. Goodcents is a chain of 125 franchised sub and pasta restaurants operating
in 13 states across the Southern and Mid-Western United States. The first
Mr. Goodcents restaurant opened in Kansas City, Mo. in 1989, offering sliced-to-order
meats and cheeses served on its famously huge, fresh-baked white or wheat
bread. They also create made-to-order pasta dishes topped with their signature
hearty tomato or creamy alfredo sauces.

The Herzog Motorsports No. 92 Excedrin Chevrolet Monte Carlo will circle
the 1.5-mile Kansas Speedway this weekend with Mr. Goodcents proudly displayed
on the rear quarter panels and deck-lid. "The Herzog Motorsports team is
excited to have the race sponsor, Mr. Goodcents, as our associate sponsor
this weekend at Kansas City," stated Jimmie Johnson, driver of the No. 92
