Lysol 200 - Watkins Glen International
He's a Jolly Good Fellows
Road racing guru Ron Fellows won the Lysol 200 at Watkins Glen International from the pole position. After finishing third in the Craftsman Truck Series race on Saturday, Fellows was able to hold of fellow road racer Butch Leitzinger by .901 seconds to claim his second career Busch Grand National win. Kevin Harvick was the highest finishing Busch regular, coming home in the third position, followed by Todd Bodine in fourth.
Fellows on the Pole at The Glen
Road course ace Ron Fellows set the pace during the "European style" qualifying used at Watkins Glen, where cars qualify in groups and run a series of laps, the fastest of which is recorded as their official qualifying effort. Fellows' best lap of 73.805 seconds, at 119.504 mph, earned him the top starting spot for the Lysol 200 on Sunday. Tim Fedewa will join Fellows on the front row, while Elton Sawyer and PJ Jones make out row two.
