Green Wins at South Boston
Jeff Green claimed the checkered flag for the Textilease Medique 300 at South Boston Speedway. Green becomes the first repeat winner among the Busch Grand National regulars, holding off Tony Raines by .381 seconds to win for the seond time this season. Green led for a total of 131 of the 300 laps and extends his point lead by 264 points over Todd Bodine.

    Atwood on South Boston Pole
    Casey Atwood will lead the field to the green flag later today in the Textilease Medique 300 at South Boston Speedway. Atwood turned a fast lap of 15.478 seconds, at an average speed of 93.035 mph, to take the pole position. Tony Raines will start from the outside pole, while Michael Ritch and last week's winner Jason Keller start from the second row.
