Burton Dominates Richmond
Jeff Burton won the Autolite/Fram 250 at Richmond International Raceway in dominating fashion, leading 197 of the event's 250 laps. Burton held off Busch Grand National point leader Jeff Green by .935 seconds to take the win. The win is the third of the season for Burton and the 13th in his BGN career. With the second place finish, Green extended his point lead to a whopping 649 points over second place Jason Keller.

Bodine Grabs Pole at Richmond
Todd Bodine will lead the field to the green flag in the Autolite/Fram 250 tonight. Bodine qualified at 21.815 seconds, at an average speed of 123.768 mph, to set a new track record at Richmond, giving him his second pole position of the 2000 season. Jeff Burton, who is not known for his qualifying, will start from the outside pole, while point leader Jeff Green and Dave Blaney make out row two.
