    Fedewa Takes New Hampshire Pole
On the day that fellow Busch Grand National driver Adam Petty lost his life in a practice accident, nothing else seemed to matter. Despite heavy hearts and sad faces, the show must go on, and Tim Fedewa claimed the pole position that took a back seat to the Petty situation. "This is probably the saddest day in my life," said a teary-eyed Fedewa after winning the pole with a lap of 29.243 seconds, at 130.247 mph. Buckshot Jones starts second, followed by Kevin Harvick and Randy LaJoie in row two.
