Sam's Club 200 - North Carolina Speedway

Green Wins at Rockingham
Nobody can accuse Jeff Green of points racing. Green inched closer to his first Busch Grand National championship, winning the Sam's Club 200 at Rockingham. After a caution with three laps to go set up a one-lap shootout, Green passed leader Jeff Burton on the high side and held on for his first win at the North Carolina Speedway. Green, who became only the eighth BGN regular to win at Rockingham, won for the sixth time in 2000 and the 10th time in his career. Green simply needs to start the race next week at Memphis to win the Busch championship.
