Harvick is the King of Memphis
Kevin Harvick took the checkered flag at the Memphis Motorsports Park, holding off Elton Sawyer by .475 seconds to win the Sam's Town 250. Harvick, leading 71 laps on the day, tied a Busch Grand National rookie record by winning for the third time this season. Jeff Green crossed the finish line third and celebrated his first BGN championship.

BGN Champion Green Takes Memphis Pole
Needing merely to start the Sam's Town 250 at Memphis Motorsports Park to clinch his first Busch Championship, Jeff Green will make that start in a big way. Green roared to his seventh pole position of the season, turning in a qualifying lap of 22.450 seconds, at an average speed of 120.267 mph. Rookie Kevin Harvick will start from the outside pole, while Casey Atwood and Elton Sawyer start from the second row.
