Sears DieHard 250 - The Milwaukee Mile

 

Green Dominates at Milwaukee
After enduring two red flag periods for rain, Jeff Green won his fourth race of the season. Green beat Jeff Purvis by .797 seconds to become the 10th winner in 10 races at the Milwaukee Mile. Green dominated the event, leading 210 of the 250 laps to claim the eighth win of his career. Green now leads Todd Bodine by 388 points in the chase for the BGN championship.

    Green Takes Milwaukee Pole
    Jeff Green will lead the field to the green flag on Sunday at the Milwaukee Mile for the Sears DieHard 250. Green turned a qualifying lap in 29.612 seconds, at an average speed of 121.572 mph, to claim his fifth pole position of the season. Jeff Purvis will join Green on row one, starting from the outside pole, while Hank Parker Jr. and Todd Bodine make out row two.
