Sam's Town 300 - Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Lady Luck Smiles on Burton at Vegas
Jeff Burton came up with all sevens in Las Vegas, using a little luck to capture the Sam's Town 300 over Mark Martin. Martin had the day's strongest car, making up a lap after a black flag and regaining the lead. With three laps to go, Martin appeared on his way to victory, until Jack Sprague spun in front of Martin, causing Martin to have to check up to avoid the spinning Sprague, Burton went low around Martin to take the yellow flag. The race would end under caution.
