Harvick Claims First Busch Win
Rookie Kevin Harvick visited Victory Lane for the first time in his brief Busch Grand National career, winning the CarQuest Auto Parts 250 at Gateway International Raceway. Harvick became the second rookie to win on the BGN circuit this season. Harvick led a total of 111 of the 250 laps and beat Jeff Purvis to the finish line to take the win. Todd Bodine finished third, while teammates Jason Keller and Jeff Green rounded out the top five.
