Food City 250 - Bristol Motor Speedway

 

Harvick Dominates Bristol
Rookie Kevin Harvick dominated the field in the Food City 250 at Bristol, leading 241 of the event's 250 laps to win from the pole position. Harvick held off Jason Keller by .222 seconds to claim his second win of his rookie season. With the win, Harvick moves to third place in the Winston Cup point standings, 596 points behind point-leader Jeff Green.

    Harvick Takes Busch Pole at Bristol
    Rookie Kevin Harvick grabbed his second pole position of the 2000 season, taking the top starting spot for the Food City 250. Harvick turned in a qualifying lap of 15.555 seconds, at an average speed of 123.356 mph. Casey Atwood will start from the outside pole, while Jason Keller and Michael Waltrip start from the second row.
