Cheez-It 250 - Bristol Motor Speedway

 

Marlin Wins at Bristol
Sterling Marlin became the fourth driver to win a Busch Grand National series race this season, a whopping zero have been by BGN regulars. All six races in the 2000 season have been won by a Winston Cup driver; Mark Martin (3), Jeff Burton, Matt Kenseth, and Marlin. Marlin had the day's strongest car and beat Jeff Green to the checkered flag by .736 seconds to claim his second career Busch win.

    Green on Bristol Pole
    PPC Racing teammates will start one-two for the Cheez-It 250 at the Bristol Motor Speedway. Jeff Green held off defending race champion Jason Keller to grab the top starting spot for Saturday's race. Green set a new track record with a lap of 15.421 seconds, at 124.428 mph. Kevin Harvick and Jeff Purvis will follow the teammates to the green flag from the second row.
