Scott Brand Products to Sponsor Ritch for Four Races

September 20, 2000 – Kimberly-Clark Corporation revealed their plans today to sponsor Michael Ritch for four out of the six remaining races in the 2000 NASCAR® Busch Series season. KLEENEX® and SCOTT® Brand products, along with KOTEX® feminine care products and HUGGIES® baby wipes have reached an agreement with Davis & Weight Motorsports to sponsor the #55 Ford Taurus, driven by Ritch, in the Dover, Rockingham, Memphis and Homestead races. "This team and Michael have shown great potential, and it's a wonder that they have gone unsponsored so far this season," said John Cook, Kimberly-Clark sponsor representative. "Davis & Weight Motorsports and Michael Ritch are a great fit for Kimberly-Clark to execute its at-track customer promotion plans for the balance of the season," said Cook.
